Patience is the ability to endure pain, to stand against challenges with the hope that things will get better.
That ability however, is not something you do at a push of a button. It’s easier to tell someone to be patient, but it’s harder for them to actually do it.
Patience is not an event, it’s a journey you go through. Patience is like standing in a queue waiting for the bank to open.
If the journey feels heavy for you, it’s okay to cry, it’s okay to reach out for help.
What’s not okay is giving up. Don’t walk out of the queue.
